Welcome!

Old Oak Cardigans is a small family owned kennel, operated by Tabatha & Adam Dehmel, with the help of our children, especially our daughter Macy, who aspires to become a veterinarian.   We are located in the Mid-Michigan area.

Growing up, Tabatha's family bred Old English Sheepdogs, and she has always loved the herding/working group dogs.  When the time was right to get a new dog, she set out to research a breed that would fit the parameters set by the family.  Nothing "too big" or "too small", must be able to keep up with 5 kids, but also like to loaf!  When she came across the Cardigan Corgi, they knew this breed was just right! 

Our dogs are members of our family.  When we go camping, or on any type of vacation, they come along with us!  

All of our dogs have Embark panels and their Cardipeds for review upon request.
